Phase IV clinical trials
Phase IV trials are normally conducted in order to build data on the long-term safety and efficacy of compounds which have marketing approval, or to provide technical support for an approved therapy. Actelion’s strategy is to maximize the value created with its products by providing additional evidence in specific patient groups to assist physicians in their treatment approach.
