Retaining an appropriate balance between attractive shareholder returns, investment in the business and a strong capital structure is a priority for the Board of Directors of Actelion. As a result, the Board proposed a dividend payment of CHF 1.00 per share, which was approved by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on 18 April 2013.

The ordinary dividend will be paid on 25 April 2013 (dividend ex-date: 22 April 2013).
